Vaalu is an upcoming Tamil comedy film directed by director Vijay Chander. The film will feature Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani in lead roles. The film is set for 2013 Pongal release.Starring Silambarasan, Hansika Motwani, Santhanam, Produced by S. S. Chakravarthy, Music by S. Thaman, Cinematography Shakthi, Editing by T. S. Suresh Vaalu Movie announced as a project which would have Jai in lead role but the project did not take off. The shooting of firstlook teaser and photoshoot of the film was completed in Taramani on 5th Augest 2012.
